(Sevierville, TN Tuesday, April 5, 2016) A Bell 206 LongRanger tourist/sightseeing helicopter operated by Smoky Mountain Helicopters crashed and exploded on impact, killing the pilot and all 4 passangers onboard. The crash occured in Sevierville, TN, a primarily tourist desination located near Smoky Mountain National Park, Pigeon Forge, and DollyWood Amusement Park.
THE NTSB stated that it could take as long as a year to accurately ascertain the cause of the accident.
